Gray on Gray Powder Room

Sometimes, the best projects happen when a client fully trusts you and your vision for their space. For this powder room, we were on a budget. In our experience, that doesn’t mean we have to skimp on what makes a space beautiful!

The vanity was found on Wayfair and came with the top you see pictured. Ordering it as one piece definitely saved on the cost of finding a counter and the effect is beautiful.

For the back wall, we used picket tile that had a zellige effect. Each tile varies in color and texture and really gives it a handmade look, giving it a lot of visual interest.

On the side walls, we went with a grasscloth wallpaper in grey. It gave the walls interest and depth without looking overdone. We love grasscloth as a subtle option on projects!

To set off the grey tones we used in this project, we added brass fixtures to warm it up and tie the room together. We even chose a few different brass tones between the Kohler faucet, the round mirror, and the wall sconces.

This space already had wood floors, so we played off of that when thinking of the design and used the warmth of it to tie in the brass and contrasted that to the rest of the space. We managed to pack warmth, texture, and interest in one little powder room.
