Hi, I’m Kristie Koning.

I live in West Michigan with my husband and two young sons. Owning my own business while raising a family keeps me busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I studied Interior Design at Kendall College of Art & Design where I graduated with Academic Honors. I have been working in the design field for 15 years, and have found my niche in residential interior design. Recently I have expanded into commercial design as well.

I am proud of the client base and relationships Kristie Koning Design has built, and look forward to continued growth in the future.

Hi, I’m Maggie Visser!

I currently live in Kalamazoo with my husband & dog in our new (to us!) home. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Western Michigan University in 2021. I have experience in kitchen & bath design as well as home furnishings.

I joined Kristie’s team in 2023 & have been loving every project I’ve gotten to visit and work on! I find joy in curating a space with character & comfort through great design. The satisfaction when a job comes together with the client’s needs & wants is unmatched!

I can’t wait to see what beautiful projects we’ll tackle next!
